Dress Hire Process

 

Renting is easy!

ORDER ONLINE – WEAR – RETURN.

No cleaning necessary.

 

1. Fitting

You can find sizing recommendations in the drop down ‘product description’ of each item.

To ensure the best fit prior to hiring, if possible, we recommend that you visit David Jones, Myer or the Designer’s store or stockist to try on the dress of your liking or a similar dress (the same item is often stocked in different prints or colours) so you know you size and that it will be a suitable style for you.

In the odd case that the dress you have ordered does not fit or suit you, we are more than happy to offer a replacement item upon returning the dress to us.

NOTE: As we are an ONLINE ONLY BOUTIQUE we do not offer any ‘try on’ facilities and we do not have a show room!
Garments are in high demand and likely with a customer or with our cleaners, hence we unfortunately do not have the chance to post garments for try-on only. This service has been misused in the past and is therefore no longer available.

We do offer a back up dress option in case you would like to read up on that in our FAQ section.

You may want to consider the option Extended Hire for only $50 AUD more. You will be able to receive the item extra early to allow more time for a possible swap in sizes or style.

 

 

2. The Hire Period

WEEKEND HIRE –  to receive the item by Friday with return of the item at the post office the following Monday before 12pm noon.

MID-WEEK HIRE –  receive by the day before your event and return it on the next business day following your event.

 

 

3. Shipping

SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE AUSTRALIA WIDE.

This is at a $20 AUD flat rate fee, which includes express post to you and the prepaid return to us. 

PLEASE PROVIDE AN ADDRESS (I.E. WORK/ BUSINESS) WHERE THERE WILL BE SOMEONE TO SIGN FOR RECEIPT OF THE PARCEL. ALL OUR PARCELS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY.

Alternatively you can pick up the item at your nearest post office in case you or someone else is not at home to sign for it.

NEW: FROM JANUARY WE WILL OFFER DRESS PICK UP AT THE SUNSHINE COAST QLD.

 


4. Cleaning

We do not require you to wash or dry-clean the garment at all.

Please return the garment worn and we take care of the cleaning for you!
A $20 AUD flat rate cleaning fee is automatically added to the hire price with the postage when placing the order online.

 

 

5. Total Hire Cost

Dress hire price as stated on website
+ $20 cleaning fee
+ $20 return express post shipping

Added Extra: Extended hire is $50 AUD extra (must be enquired for)

6. When Should You Book?

We operate on a “first in, first dressed” policy! Items can no longer be reserved.
