SHIPPING POLICY

 

DEADLINES

WE DO NOT SHIP ORDERS FOR THE SAME WEEKEND AFTER WEDNESDAY 5PM!

ALL METRO ORDERS MUST BE POSTED BY WEDNESDAY 5PM FOR THE SAME WEEKEND. WE DO NOT POST ON THURSDAYS AS IT IS TOO RISKY!

ALL SEMI RURAL/ RURAL/ WA AND NT ORDERS MUST BE POSTED BY TUESDAY 5PM FOR THE SAME WEEKEND.

 

 

DELIVERY

TheOnlyDress’s standard delivery method is Express postage operated by Australia Post. Signature required on most orders. The return shipping charge is $20AUD or $15AUD if the garment is collected from us with return by postage.

The estimated standard delivery time for express post is 1-2 business days – depending on your location and the time you submitted your order.

Upon receiving a customers order we reconfirm address and mobile number via SMS. Upon SMS confirmation we post the dress out to you so that it will arrive one day prior to your event or to arrive on the day of event at the very latest. It is upon our discretion to post the garment earlier where possible. We always aim to dispatch items extra early for your convenience.

Please allow 3-4 days for arrival if you live in a rural location and if in Western Australia/ Northern Territory or North Queensland.

It is the customer’s responsibility to calculate how long the dress may take to arrive to your delivery address, and ensure that you place your order with sufficient time to ensure that the garment will arrive in time for your event. Customer bears the risk of timely delivery for last minute orders.

It is further customer responsibility to confirm the correct address and mobile number in time for dispatch. Non-confirming may result in forced cancellation of order for a store credit or may result in the item not arriving in time. If the latter is the case, TheOnlyDress will not offer a refund.

We ship from Sydney metro 2095 until December 2019. From January 2020 we ship from Maroochydore central 4558.

 

 

RETURNS POLICY

After your event, returning your dress is simple!

Return it worn, NOT washed or cleaned. There is no need to clean the dress – we take of everything!

Please place the dress in the provided prepaid Australia Post satchel and send the parcel from your nearest Australia post office or in a yellow street box before 12-noon the day after your event. You must take a photo of your lodgements receipt received in the Post Shop or of placing the bag in the yellow street box as proof of return.

IMPORTANT! Please DO NOT drop the return parcel in a Red Post Box!

Doing so will result in us having to charge you a late return fee. We only allow the use of return postage using the YELLOW POST BOX.

Your return bag is already filled out, prepaid and good to go. Please do not add any extra information to the prepaid express post satchel.

In case you misplace the return satchel we provided you – you can purchase a new Express Post Yellow satchel (it must be express post yellow satchel) and send it to the PO BOX address advised via SMS.

 

 

LATE FEES

Please note, that a very high late fee of $80/day will be charged in any cases where the dress is not returned in time as per the instructions above!

Your garment may already be booked for the next customer and hence we have to follow a very strict schedule to ensure it is as beautiful as it was for you, for the next customer who has booked it.

You will hear from us again once the return has been processed and your order is complete. This will usually take about a week following your return.
